After the Q&A
I have to admit, I was nervous about screening the film to an audience of mostly redheads. Some people, myself included, can be very sensitive about the way that someone else tells their story. And while I’ve received so much amazing support from strangers over the past year, there have also been random comments from people who weren’t happy with the trailer or the ecards or even the film’s title. So I had no idea what to expect finally letting a real audience see the film. Here is a short video of what happened after the film’s Q&A. I’m grateful to everyone who came up to talk to me. I especially want to point out the line a girl says 41 seconds into the video. Several people, redheads and non-redheads alike, said the same thing to me that day, and what she said is the very reason I make films.

Aww, that was my friend at 41. I’m the other one hugging you. We both got quite emotional because of the things that were said, and this seemed like a fitting way to cope with that.
Somehow the bond between redheads is much bigger, and the barrier to get to know someone strange very little.
PLEASE come to Philadelphia! I work at UPenn and I know we could get a great audience for you! Pm me if you want to talk about dates for a screening and how to go about setting this up. Thank you for making this film!
I haven’t seen the movie yet since I don’t have enough on my credit card right now but in a few days I will get it and watch it.
I blame my gingerness for the way my life has gone. Seriously what do you expect when everyone around you hates you from day 1 for something you have absolutely no control over.
Hey Markus, everyone hates you because of your gingerness?? I was at the audience in Breda,I am not a redhead, and I was not lost
Your best friend just waits for you to come and live in Paris!!
